Head over to our website to answer the questionnaire. At the end of the questionnaire, it will tell you what group to register your child with on the portal.

If you are unclear about what level to register your child under after completing the questionnaire on our website, please contact learntoswim@houstonhydra.com to schedule an evaluation.

  • How will I know when it is time for my child to advance to Houston Hydra’s competitive group?

When the instructor feels your child is ready, they will notify the Learn to Swim Manager. The instructors will then let the parents know if the coach has approved the group change. We evaluate swimmers from the 15th to the 25th of every month.
